MEET DR. MARSHALL
David Marshall, DDS
Dr. Marshall is a native of Charlottesville, Virginia. He received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech University and earned his DDS from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Dr. Marshall completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Abingdon, Virginia through Johnston Memorial Hospital. As part of the founding group of residents, he helped build a community dental clinic in the area, which was created to help meet the growing need for dental care in Southwest Virginia and parts of Tennessee. During this time, he also completed the Alabama Implant Education Course, the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program Course, and an IV Sedation Course through the Foundry Residency program in Bessemer, Alabama.
When Dr. Marshall is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in activities such as fishing, kayaking, hiking, and target shooting. Dr. Marshall also enjoys gardening, riding his motorcycle, and attending musical concerts; he has been an avid guitar player throughout his life.
David Marshall, DDS, has dentistry in his blood. He takes an educational approach to dentistry and is proud to serve patients in Johnson City.
